Enjoy the fruits of Leweston School’s vibrant and eclectic instrumental music-making, much of it led by the school’s excellent peripatetic music teachers. Many of the ensembles, such as the Baroque Ensemble and the Recorder Consort, have been running for many years. Others, such as the Year 7 rock band The Blue Flames, have only been in existence since September. The ensembles on offer are built around the pupils and their individual musical talents and needs, thus enabling a flexible and organic but also specialist approach to Leweston’s music provision.
