Sherborne is a beautiful town with much to offer visitors, including the magnificent Sherborne Abbey, Sherborne Museum, Sherborne Castle and the English Heritage Old Castle.
The town is also home to a vibrant community of local artisan and independent businesses which thrive alongside a selection of high street favorites. Weekly markets, cafes, pubs and restaurants provide many opportunities to sample the abundance of local produce.
Ideally located on the Dorset and Somerset border, Sherborne has excellent transport links. If you fancy going further afield then there’s plenty to discover and explore. Much of Dorset’s countryside and coastline has been designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. With its 95 miles of coastline and 185 million years of history, there is nowhere else in the world quite like Dorset’s Jurassic Coast.
