Sherborne Abbey Festival 2022

Our first full Festival in 3 years was the biggest yet with 8 days of concerts featuring a winning combination of world-class performances alongside outstanding local talent and some truly exceptional performances from the young people of Sherborne School, Sherborne Girls and Leweston School.

This year’s Festival attracted some of its largest audiences to date and featured a diverse range of musical performances from world renowned musicians, including Steven Isserlis, Julian Bliss, Gabrielle Ducomble, Ruth Rogers, Iuventus Chamber Orchestra, and internationally acclaimed choir, The Sixteen.

Sherborne Abbey Festival 2024 once again delivered an eclectic mix of performances, attracting enormous audiences from near and far. Visitors and performers alike were enchanted by the town of Sherborne, its vibrant atmosphere, and the warm hospitality they received.

From the mighty Sherborne Festival Chorus’s fine performance of the Mozart Requiem to the final applause echoing through the Abbey, this year’s Festival celebrated musical brilliance in all its forms.
