Organ Recital: Matthew Martin

The Festival is delighted to welcome composer, conductor and organist Matthew to the Abbey.  After his organ scholarship at Magdalen College Oxford he went on to the Royal Academy of Music winning all the major organ prizes and subsequently studying in Paris with Marie-Claire Alain.   Currently Precentor and Director of College Music at Gonville & Caius, Cambridge, he continues his freelance activities as a composer writing for the Tallis Scholars, The Sixteen and the choirs of St Paul’s Cathedral, St John’s College and Clare College, Cambridge.
