Founded some fifty years ago, the ensemble comprises singers from year 11-13 and their programme draws upon both the sacred and secular strands of their repertoire, with motets by Purcell and Rutter contrasting with madrigals, part-songs and folk-song arrangements. The concert reaches an exhilarating conclusion in Bob Chilcott’s lively Jazz Spirituals.
