This inaugural Festival recital at Sherborne’s stunning new arts centre is given by husband-and-wife duo Arturo Serna (cellist, conductor, and teacher) and Ana Laura Manero (pianist, teacher and now the new Artistic Director of Sherborne Abbey Festival). This unmissable event promises a captivating programme of songs without words for cello and piano, including Elgar’s Chanson de matin and Chanson de nuit, Rachmaninoff’s Vocalise, and Piazzolla’s exhilarating Le Grand Tango.
